Recently in Montreal

I haven't updated my blog lately... I'm lazy at all :-p

June 25th I went to the Mont-Royal park to walk around...
On every weekend, lots of people came to this park and they enjoy playing music, sun tuning, walking etc... I saw a very strange game in this park, I thought they were fighting... But I didn't understand the rule, purpose and what was interesting... They were wearing strange costumes and fighting with fake swords or hammers... (sounds strange, doesn't it?)

July 1st I went to the Jazz festival...
It's one of the most famous and popular festival in Montreal! In fact, there were lots of people and very crowded!! (it's associated with Japan...) Concerts were played from noon to midnight and most of them were free, so if you like music and if you have time, you can enjoy free concerts about 12 hours a day! I'm not familiar with music, but I like concert... It's very comfortable to listen music outside with good weather... :-)

July 8th I went to my friend's wedding...
I went to the court to see the wedding. According to Canadian, it's very common these days to get marry at the court and they don't go to the church... Yeah actually, it's very simple and inexpensive, there're the bride and the broom, the judge and witnesses, it took about 1 hour, the bride and the broom signed for arrangement and kissed, that's it! I thought it's very different from Japanese common wedding... I prefer cheaper Canadian style, because I can use money for different purpose. (for travel, shopping example) ; when I said that in Japan I have to pay for the wedding party, Canadians were so surprised... "WHAT?"

I'm pretty fine and now I'm planning to go to France after working holiday... It sounds soooo exciting, isn't it? (actually I've been learning French now!)
