Remembrance Day

They make motifs of poppy

Do you know Poppy? It is a kind of flowers. In Canada, especially in November, the flower has a very important meaning.

My friend wears a poppy motif

According to Canadian people, they dedicate 2 minuites of silence to remembrance of war at Nov. 11th.. I think it's a respectable custom and it's similar to The day of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan (Aug. 6th, 9th). We should never forget about the War and never do agin.

Lastly, I feel very sorry for WW2 victims as one Japanese...
