With Classmates

Last Thursday, we had an international lunch in our class. We prepared dishes from our own countries, went to our classmate's place with our food and had a party. There were a lot of dishes and sweets... and everything was great! I had a good time with classmates and teachers. :-)

Japanese Lunacy

In Japan, a certain crime is increasing these days. Do you know what it is? It's a child murder, means lots of children would be victims of miserable crimes. Why do killers commit crimes? In Japan, the reason of a child murder is a little different from other countries. Japan is one of the richest countries in the world, so most of murders are not poor people. Some of them kill children for their interests (it's so disgusting), some of them commit a crime for their malice and others do it because of their mental illness. It's a very strange and disconsolate phenomenon to increase a child murder in one of the safest countries in the world; my mother country Japan...

Today, I found a strange system to protect children from murders. It's a ordinary vending machine but it has a receiver which receives radio frequently identification from children's bag; rando-sel. And this machine sends children's status to their parents' PCs or cell phones. The children's status includes their GPS information and their pictures.

Children protector; his name is "a vending machine"

When I saw this news, it remained me Hollywood movies. It's crazy, isn't it? This vending machine was born by combination of Japanese social illness and high technology. We have to be ashamed of our problem. Please try to fix the root of evil, instead of thinking about complicated solutions.

Icy Quebec City

Last weekend, I went to Quebec City for sightseeing. I visited to Ice Hotel and old Quebec city. It was so cold but such a beautiful day. In Ice Hotel, everything is made of ice, and you can stay this hotel if you pay; more than $200. Guide said "Every year, CRAZY American have reserved all rooms about 1 year before. :D" Do you want to pay to catch a cold? Then I went to old Quebec city. Quebec city is more beautiful city than Montreal. I like Quebec city but it's too cold... I recommend you to go there in summer.. :-(

Ok, seeing is believing. Have fun.

Another Excitement

Finally, Winter Olympic games have started!!
What sports do you like? Skiing? Skating? I like winter sports, so I like to watch the Winter Olympics.

When I was an university student, Japan had the Winter Olympics in Nagano. At that time I lived in Nagano, I couldn't watch games on a live but I enjoyed watching games on TV. Especially I like to watch Alpine skiing (of course MEN! :D), because they are so awesome! I felt in love with their skiing technique and appearances. When I use to watch alpine skiing games on TV frequently (10 years ago?), there were lots of European athletes such as Tomba Alberto, Sykora Thomas, Stangassinger Thomas.. and Austrian were very strong, I loved them.

I watch Olympics not only having fun but also finding handsome athletes.;-)) They're so attractive! They have good shapes, some of them are very looking good and so on... This winter games, I've already found some handsome athletes, have you checked them? I hope they do their best in Turin!!

Are they handsome for you?? :D

I don't like "SUSHI"

Last week, I went to the gym. In my gym, there're some trainers who teach members how to exercise. While I was working out, one trainer talked to me. He taught me some exercises such as abdominal and stretching.

Suddenly, he asked me "Where are you from?"
I answered "Japan".
Then he said "Oh, Japan! I like SUSHI! Can you make SUSHI?"

There's only one thing that I learned here. When I say "I'm from Japan", everybody except Asian people ask me "Can you make SUSHI?"

OK, I know that SUSHI is popular and famous here, but it doesn't mean Japanese equal SUSHI. I'm Japanese, but I'm not SUSHI. If you really like Japan, you should ask me more JAPANESE things than SUSHI.

That kind of mistake is sometimes funny, sometimes rude. Actually, I don't like to be compared with food. I'd feel better if I was compared with cars, computers or something technorogical, OR temples, shrines or something cultural. Please don't call me SUSHI!! :-)

Have you ever had the same experience as me?
